Café: WA, London

This beautiful cafe is located somewhere in Ealing Broadway(if u drive then just park at eating lol) near hare & tortoise or the station :). They have a button that is written both in Japanese and English and it says the push to open! How cute is that?!! Ok back to the topic, the cafe is not too small for a cafe shop in London as you know most of the cafe shop it's quite small, you can probably seat about 30 people max? Maybe more? Gives or takes anyways, the design or decor is quite clean and it's mixed like Japanese and French... they have quite some selection of pastries and cakes in which I got to sampled 3 different cakes.
Chocolate praline:
very rich in chocolate flavor and delicious crunchiness from the praline, I expected this cake to be softer but it's more on the hard side, however very delicious and wasn't crazily sweet that can bore u easily, best of my 3 sample so far.

Soufflé cheesecake: very typical Japanesecheesecakethatismore hard than the fluffiness of traditional cheesecake like uncle Tetsu style(sponge-like), I like any type of cheesecake so it was good in my opinion, nothing wow but still delicious, if ur aiming for more traditional type that is airy and fluffy then this isn't the one ur seeking, however, if u just want a cheesecake, this one is not bad, give it a try urself.

Raspberry mousse: this cake is garnished with different berries on top and it has a full layer of mousse inside and it is wrapped around the mousse by a thin layer or cake surrounding the mousse, it's not too sweet either n delicious.

Matcha latte: matcha powder, milk turn into a latte with pretty design, I like it but it is not the best I would say, I feel like they use very little matcha which wasn't strong enough and I don't even like it strong either, but the aroma isn't strong enough to knock me over.

Aesthetically speaking, they all look beautiful and tasty and I recommend this place for ur high tea or cake to take home, however remember that french or Japanese cake is nothing of big portion but they r delicious and more lux, if your seeking for something big then you might as well go to different cafe, if u want quality then this one isn't bad, in fact, I really like it! Give it a try yourself! My next try would be their sandwich!

Recommendation/suggestion for staff: if you can increase your cake selection menu by few more choices it would be fantastic and adding macaron would definitely be more popular as I did not see macaron in your selection. As for your Matcha Latte, I'm not sure if you are just doing half of a teaspoon of matcha powder or the grade of the match is just not high enough(I'm just guessing I could be wrong) but making it tiny bit stronger will bring out the matcha flavour and the latter will be enhanced. Trust me as I worked in a tea shop and worked with matcha and different kind of teas often.

As long as you can.
Life’s not meant to be lived in one place.

Day 1

I fly to Rome on Thursday morning, which works out well as all attractions are open and do not have the weekend traffic to deal with.

Tips:

Take the train from Leonardo Da Vinci airport to Termini Station, it's part of the experience.  The Termini Station is a convenience for the traveler to go everywhere. In Airport and Station, you can find some city guidebook. Read a guidebook to help you understand a little about the city before going (Rick Steves Italy, or Rome were good).

There is no need to book a tour of either of these sites unless you want one. On one day, with tickets to the Vatican Museums, you can pick your entry time and spend as much or as little time wandering as you wish. After that, you can go into St. Peter's Basilica.

Vatican City Although very small country, but the Vatican Museum is really so shocking.

They display works from the immense collection amassed by Popes throughout the centuries including some of the most renowned classical sculptures and most important masterpieces of Renaissance Art in the world. (Wikipedia)

The following photos were taken by Addison Liu.

One of  Sistine Chapel ceiling's most famous works is one of the three Renaissance: Michelangelo spent four years painting " Sistine Chapel ceiling" at the Sistine Chapel. In the biography of Michelangelo, Roman Roland wrote: "Michelangelo is only one kind of heroism: understanding of the world (reality), and still, love it."

Michelangelo painting " Sistine Chapel ceiling" is the mural I have seen, the most surprising piece of work. You stand under the mural, no matter from every angle you can see every detail of the mural. Every detail is full of biblical stories, perfect in every angle, and you can feel yourself traveling in the painting.

Tip: This mural, visitors cannot take pictures. Only I secretly photographed, because it is so beautiful.

Day 2

On another day, I went to see ancient Rome by visiting the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Baths of Caracalla, Circus Maximus, Santa Maria in Cosmedin and the Knights of Malta Keyhole. This is a great way to spend the day and see most of the sites if you are on a limited time allowance.

I went to Colosseum/Roman Forum in morning followed by a lunch nearby, then walking to the city south Circus Maximus, next walk north on Via Cavuto, having a gelato and visiting St. Peter in Chains.

This was a nice quiet place and Michelangelo’s Moses is awesome.  Then take the metro to the Spanish Steps and enjoy a walking tour through the Heart of Rome.
